Mt. Etna excursions - 4x4 jeep excursions to Etna Volcano
An exclusive half-day excursion by 4-wheel drive Land Rover to explore the volcano Mt Etna. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides will take you off-road through vineyards and lava fields to show you how Sicilians have lived for generations on the slopes of Mt Etna. Visit an old palmento (winery), explore caves and follow an old railway track. Your guides will drive you up to 2000 meters, from where you will walk across the lava flows of the 2002 eruption to experience the incredible power of nature that surrounds you.

Our chef, 'La mamma', who loves to share Sicily's culinary secrets, will share traditional recipes that have been passed on from mother to daughter for generations with you. Prepare different antipasti, pasta alla Norma, involtini, dolce Siciliano and other dishes in a restaurant or a traditional Sicilian farmhouse kitchen. Food may not be the primary reason to visit Sicily but it becomes the unquestioned highlight!

Navigate your own way through the hills, rivers and gorges of the Alcantara Valley and up along the trails leading to the slopes and old lava flows of Mt Etna - get 'off-road' and discover the real Sicily that can't be reached with a normal car!

Sicily has attracted the attention of outsiders for more than 6000 years. The island is a fabulous display of Greek amphitheatres and temples, Roman villas, Arab mosques and gardens, Norman cathedrals, Renaissance palaces, Baroque churches - many centuries of history and culture to be explored. Siracuse, Taormina, the Valley of the Temples, Monreale, Segesta, are some of the most interesting relics of the past.
Sicilian feasts - in the countryside or on the village square
The Sicilians are famous for their lunches and dinners where the whole family or village gathers for a feast. Basic ingredients are local wine, home made food, local music and an informal atmosphere. We organize for your group a BBQ in the countryside, a gathering in the garden of an old farm house or a private feast on a village square. Make pasta with 'La mamma', taste the typical local products like wine, olives, sun dried tomatoes and ricotta cheese.
Taormina - island in the sky
The magical town of Taormina, with spectacular views Mount Etna and the Ionian sea and coastline below, has enchanted visitors from all over the world for centuries. Taormina's winding streets with balconies covered with flowers in bloom, retain much of their medieval flavour. Beautiful by day, in the evenings Taormina's atmosphere is bewitching. Take in the breathtaking panorama over dinner in one of Taormina's famous restaurants, indulge in some shopping along the famous 'Corso Umberto' or sip an aperitif while watching the evening 'passeggiata'.
Grape & Olive picking - make your own wine and oil
Have a great day out in the beautiful countryside picking olives, grapes or lemons, relax and build your strength at a country feast and be rewarded with your own freshly produced oil, wine or limoncello (lemon liqueur) to enjoy when you go home! October is the harvesting time for the grapes. Mingle with the locals during this important yearly event. Olive picking takes place in November.
Gala dinners - dine in a private castle, villa or palazzo
Step into the world of Sicilian aristocracy and feast in the evocative atmosphere of a torch lit castle, a refined villa or grand palazzo, to the accompaniment of a pianist, quartet, Sicilian folk music or the Italian opera. Be entertained by a private operetta, Sicilian puppet theatre or dance troupe and finish the night off with a spectacular fireworks display.
Wine tasting - visit a winery and its cellars
The main producer of wine for the Roman Empire, Sicily's centenary vineyards are experiencing a glorious new era, and are firmly asserting themselves on the international stage. Boat trip Aeolian islands - private day excursions
The Aeolian Islands, a group of seven volcanic islands, are one of the most beautiful sailing grounds in the world. By boat, you can really enjoy the breathtaking panoramas: colossal rocks and crags of various shapes and sizes jutting out of the sea, cliff faces topped by high pinnacles and charming inlets of turquoise water. Explore Lipari town with Vespa scooters, swim in a one of the many 'calettas', the hidden bays around the island, that can only be reached by boat or treat yourself on the thermal mud baths of Volcano.
Horse riding - excursions by horse or on the back of a mule
Sicily is a great place to go horse riding. A botanical paradise with spectacular nature, high peaks, valleys, rivers and gorges, hills and medieval towns as well as art and gastronomy, Sicily is a great place to get active. We organise day trips or 1-2 hour excursions through the Sicilian countryside or along the beaches of the Ionian coast.
